Here Come The Girls…

Hello I’m Siân
I came to Manchester over ten years ago for university and never left as I fell in love with the place. Now a mother of one and wedded to a born and bred Manc, my roots are firmly planted. I’m a regular cyclist and outside of the office enjoy family, friends, yoga, live music, skiing and reading.
I have worked in support forever, both in large corporates and in small start-ups, and learned very early on the importance of making best friends with the IT department, as it quickly became clear that the crux of enabling users to be productive and happy in their work, was making sure their technology was not only working, but working in the way they want.
In my previous role as head of business support, I was a happy client of NetMonkeys which helped to solidify my experience in Office 365, SharePoint, business continuity, cloud computing and phone systems. Now I am really excited to step over to the other side and help NetMonkeys develop business and keep delivering to clients.
Happily, I knew most of the team before I started which was has meant a really enjoyable first few weeks and I have to say that the chaps have all been remarkably charming about welcoming a female into their domain.
I’m a big fan of BBC 6 Music so will do everything in my power to stop Chris’s Smooth campaign and I’m absolutely buzzing about being based in the Northern Quarter, as I now finally have a hope of trying out some of the new cafés, bars and restaurants that seem to spring up here each week!
